Can I Just Add Jokers?

Is there anything stopping me from just adding joker sets into my training cycles? Pretty sure I’ve been doing them off and on in my training anyways as some days when I feel good and want to keep going I just go past my final work set and work up to see where I’m at that day and resist the urge to fuck up my TM with the what I reach.

What I’d really like to do is simply transition to the full beyond 5/3/1 program as written with jokers and fsl.

I just want to know if there’s a consensus reason to not just go from the original 531 to this because I like it.

It’s not whether or not you like something. It’s about what works.

As said many times on TNation forum - in a 5 cycle program, they are used for about 2 cycles.
