Calve Training for Performance/Health

Hello, CT.

What is your opinion on calve training for performance/strength in the big three/health? I don’t train calves, but I think I might be losing something as far as stability goes in my ankles/knees for not training them at all. Would adding mass to the calves help stability of those two joints (assuming everything else is fine as far as health/muscle balance)?

I feel like high pulls, olympic lifts and work like prowler pushing and farmer’s walk is all that you need to build the calves and will make you more stable than any calves isolation work can.
