Calroie Reduction & Fat Loss

#1

Assuming someone has reached a point where their weight is stable and they are in reasonable condition but probably 6 weeks away from being fairly ripped (after a good diet plan), how many calories do people reduce by to start losing fat without losing muscle?

I'm not talking about specific macronutrient manipulation, supplements etc which I'm clued up on already, I'm talking purely how much calorie reduction? I'm always hearing 500kcals is a good point to aim for?

i say 300kcals is a good increment.

It also totally depends on your total calorie intake. For a woman for example who eats less calories, 500 calories can be a too big step.
What about 10%? How much is that from your total intake now?
