Calories/Protein on Leg Days

Does anyone here tye to consume more calories and protien on their leg days than on their other lifting days. I have been doing this in an effort to fight off the soreness I get in my quads after I lift and was wondering if anyone else has tried this.

I have been trying to get an extra 20-40 grams of protien and 300-400 calories on my leg days over and beyond what I normally consume on lifting days.

I know I do.

And you probably should, considering its your biggest muscle group.

eat proportionate to the area of muscle worked. If you blast your legs, its obviously gonna take more nutrients to recover than after an arm day.

You can also eat more on days with lagging body parts you want to bring up to speed.
