I’ve been eating around 4200-4500 calories per day for the last 2 years - just for maintenance. I do not consider myself to be overly active, and am unable to gain any significant amount of weight, (I actually have trouble maintaining it sometimes). Does anyone else have this problem? I actually hate eating that much, and cannot wait until the day comes, that my metabolism slows down, or my body’s set point losens up some.
Well, I usually consume around 3,000 to 3,500 cals a day but on the weekends I eat a crap load of crap. Anyways, I only weigh 155lbs. and have been at this weight for as long as I can remember. Somedays after the weekend I’ll come in weighing around 160 then after working out Im back to 155. If you wanna gain weight, it’s easy, just eat high amounts of carbs, protein, and medium amounts of fat for every meal. That should put it on. My usualy breakfast is about 1 cup oats, 1 cup blueberries, 2 scoops whey, 1/2 cup lowfat granola, and 2 tbsp of fruit jam or a bananna. Try that with peanut butter! But that should give you an idea of what Im talking about.
Da Boxer
No doubt some people do. I’m certainly not one of them.
Barring intenstinal parasites, that’s still within the realm of normal. Enjoy it while you have it.
