What is the best caliper for testing body fat? Where should I look to buy it?

How much money do you want to spend. For body composition tracking and monitoring, both the Accu-measure and Slim-Guide work well and cost about $20. Check out www.enforcergraphics.f2s.com/ bodyfat.htm for links to buy these calipers and for skinfold calculators. If money is no object, the Harpendan (my favorite) or Lange calipers are considered reference grade. Most research studies that use skinfold measurements will take them with one of these two brands of calipers. There are others that are in between and can work, but I do not have much experience. The key is to pick one brand and continously use it.
Accumeasure Fat-Track I think its called. Anyway, its a digital caliper that works pretty well. On dpsnutrition for pretty good price.
