Agree on all counts. I thought the season started out pretty awfully–stale contrived plot points punctuated with Runckle running around with his cock out screaming for one reason or another.
I was ready to lament the death of one of my favorite shows when suddenly the season COMPLETELY turned around. The last few episodes have been brilliant–reminds me of why I loved the show in the first place: great writing and great characters, especially (of course) Hank. Rob Lowe’s character is fucking fantastic too…“I think we should kill someone tonight. Like a hobo or something.”
The way they cut between Hank and lawyer lady talking in the bar and them getting undressed and down to business was really cool. Added the art and some of the feeling back into the show which has been missing for a while.

I agree about the last few shows have been really good. I am actually rooting for Hank to get a break and get paid, not sure why.
The lawyer is hot, I’ve always had a crush on her.
This is the show I look forward to the most since Dexter ended.
