ASC Pro Strongman Scott Brengel and East Coast / West Coast Strength Speed & Conditioning will be promoting California's Strongest Man in Huntington Beach, CA on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 am PST. The contest will be held in the parking lot on Huntington Street off of Pacific Coast Highway right next to the beach across the street from the Huntington Beach Hilton.
This is a very special show as it was exactly 10 years ago that the 1st ever California's Strongest Man was held at March Air Field Museum in 2003. This show was facilitated by the Freak Factory and promoted by Ron Sterk and it kick-started the sport of strongman on the West Coast. There are also some very special details being worked out for this show to appear on national TV to commemorate the special event. Details to follow.
If you want to be a part of strongman history and compete against the best of the best amateurs in the country, this is a great opportunity for you. This will be a Platinum show, so 3 people will qualify from the following divisions - 200 and under, 201-231, 232-265 and 266+.
This is arguably the best venue in the entire country as it is the site for popular events like the X-Games, Surf Contests, Volleyball Championships, Paintball Championships and the location for the Finals in World's Strongest Man 2007. If you are looking for a little vacation from the cold, this is a great opportunity.
Since we are concerned with the pace of the show and keeping the show exciting for the fans, we are once again limiting the entries to the first 40 applicants. The contest application has been submitted and should be available on www.nastrongman.com
There will be a huge St. Pattyâ??s Day after-party on Main St. and excellent hotel accommodations are being worked out again.
The contest will feature five popular strongman events including:

Keg Toss Over Bar
