Anybody know why soda manufacturers add caffeine to their products?
I would guess to sell more sodas because caffeine is somewhat addictive.
Quite simply, because caffeine is mildly addictive. Additionally, it’s a mild diuetic; so, if you drink soda, it’ll dehydrate you, prompting you to drink more, thereby further lining the pockets of said manufacturers. This works especially well at restaurants and movie theaters. Hope this helps.
It was a replacement for cocaine. Really. “Coca-cola”. Get it? True story.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Maybe it replaced the cocaine originally included in the product… Ok, so it wasn’t the same thing we know as cocaine but it had to cause some kind of reaction/addiction… maybe they needed something to replace it??? Just guessing here.
