Cable or DB for Chest Fly?

Over the last year I have tried to see what will work best for chest fly. When I perform with cables I feel as though I do not get enough resistance to get that ideal squeeze and pulling apart sensation on the negative portion of the rep. But when using db my shoulders seem to feel more fatigued than my chest sometimes.
I am wondering if there is anything out there I could try that’ll do just as much affect as chest fly and if not which one is best?

Try dips for a few weeks.

could try loaded streching in the last rep, i added after thibs article and really liked ( i do with incline dumbbel fly)

I really don’t like chest flies that much. I personally prefer the pec deck machine and cable crossover is second
