Butterbean's Latest Foray Into MMA

Butterbean??s latest foray into MMA?

At ??Cage Rage 22?? this past Saturday Eric ??Butterbean?? Esch took on Tengiz Tedoradze under MMA rules.

Also, if you’re an MMA fan be sure to check out Marios Zaromskis vs. Ross Mason, which also took place on the card.

It’s a tremendous fight.

On the show Brazilian Top Team co-founder Mario Sperry took on Les Hasdell.

I don’t know much about MMA but am I right in assuming that is fairly low level?

It’s not the highest level, but Butterbean needed to fight somewhere. He had a couple wins in PRIDE, but who knows what’s going on there since Zuffa bought them.

Much like he was in boxing, Butterbean is purely a freakshow in MMA.

Any time he fights a guy who is capable of taking the fight to the ground (not an easy feat versus a 400 pound man), he loses. Bean should never have taken a fight with a grappler like Tedoradze. He needs to stick to fighting guys who are willing to stand and bang.

You forgot to include the link to the Herb Dean versus Dave Legeno fight. For everyone that ever wanted to see a referee get beat on, this fight is for you.

Much respect to Herb for actually getting in the cage and fighting.

Wow…how can you not love the internet???

… and how could you neglect to include yet another in a long line of fights where James Thompson gets KTFO in the first round. Dude has a body made of granite and a chin made of glass.

James Thompson is the like the white Gary Goodridge. Everytime he fights someone goes to the hospital, be it him or the other guy.

Personally, I thought the Butterbean stoppage was poor reffing. Butterbean was blocking all the legal blows, the damaging ones were illegal blows to the back of the head. Should have been warned and restarted on the feet IMO.

All the respect in the world to Herb Dean for getting in the cage, but you can just see that the guy plain and simply isn’t a fighter. He actually had the balls to get in the ring and find out for himself though, much better than 99.999% of people who just live with their delusions as they shadow box in the bath room mirror.

My brother??s favourite fight is Thompson Vs Alex E. It might not be a great fight per say, but when you watch it complete with pre fight stare down it is, kinda, cool.

Then he would just be boxing. He is now a mixed martial artist and should improve his ground game and athleticism accordingly.

TRUE

He may be a big fat guy, but I can say with 100% confidence I would not want to be on the receiving end of any solid blow from Butterbean under any condition.
