Busted Knee & Home Gym Advice Needed

Last Friday while doing the leg extension with full weights I hurt myself badly. my lower leg dislocated and I busted my kneecap. Some kneecaps consist of two parts though so the doc is not sure whether it’s my normal situation or a piece of my kneecap broke off. I’m in a cast now for six weeks to get my ligaments in shape.

Would a double/triple dose of Flameout be beneficial to my joint recovery?

Also, instead of being glued to my computer for six weeks I want to keep training my upper body. I have no home gym so I was thinking of getting a set of adjustable dumbbells. I researched them on this site and I noticed Iron Mind is preferred, I can’t find a local dealer though and shipping them overseas from the US would probably be like $500.

I did find a local Powerblock dealer. Are these weights good enough to workout with? I heard they are plasticy and break easily? They cost like $1300 here so I wanna make sure I get my money’s worth.

How are you going to walk around with dumbbells with a busted knee?

were you doing single leg or both?

did you have previous knee problems?

119kg… so that’s about 260lbs, both legs.

I did have a damaged meniscus from playing soccer in my youth.
