Bush Lite

Long live the religious right who’s pulling the strings!!!

Alright! Mission accomplished fellow T-Men. I finally got some people talking something other than juice, training, and diet. Don’t get me wrong, I value and cherish all of the information that I have gathered on this forum, but now I finally got some of you guys thinking and posting some great opinions! To JD, I really do not think anyone is scared of Bush, I just do not want to relapse into the era of Reaganomics and Bush economics again. I like my standard of living right now. The country is hitting a high point in our economics right now, not like in the eighties, where my father and many others were laid off because of Ronald Reagan and his predecessor. Personally, I do not like either of them, but I would rather see the more intelligent and well spoken of the two in charge. When you get down to it, they are only figureheads. The real powers behind our government are Big Corporation, Big Pharmaceutical, and foreign influence. The President really does not do that much, only what he is told. Akicita, you are right about Nader. I really like a lot of his ideas, but you have to think realistically. People are either going to lean Demo, or Repub. I would be tickled to death to see him actually win. Thanks for everyone’s input. I hope to see a lot more stimulating talks like this. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to everyone here.

Gore seems to think that the people in this countries are morons; that we can’t do anything for ourselves. If it were up to him, we would be a socialist country. As far as foreign policy and Bush, so what if he doesn’t know exactly what is going on. Gore better know, he is the freakin V.P. Bush will learn as soon as he is in office with the help of advisers and will make a lot better decisions than Gore would faced with the same situations.I think Bush believes in the people, while Gore believes in himself. Look at Gore when he speaks. He looks like the biggest liar that I have ever seen.

Raegan was the best president this country ever had. Where we are today is due to a lot of his leadership.

I thought Bush looked real. His ideas are right and Gore was fake. At every turn he talked about giving my money away. Screw him man!

B, I don’t want to “start” anything, but let’s take a look at how this began. You posted a message on a public forum attacking someone. It doesn’t matter if I agree or disagree with your views, but I think it’s only right that I question your reasoning. I don’t know what you mean when you said something along the lines of, “I’ve been put down by the best.” Who are the best? Did you react with childish name calling in that instance too? You seem far too interested in starting a conflict so I’m not going to indulge you in a war of words. As ekul (I think) said, if you want to have an intelligent argument then try to write in semi-complete sentences. Above all though use LOGIC. It’s the greatest gift we have. I don’t think it was unfair for me to call you on your attack on Gore. If that makes me an asshole, then so be it.

PS. If you plan on succeeding in the business world, I think you might want to improve your grammar, as it really does matter there.

Jeff, the young and naive 20 year old college frat boy asshole

You are the one that is “friggin stupid”! Do you even know what the issues are? You should never be ashamed to be a Texan, you are from the best state in the union. If you don’t like it, then move to Rhode Island.

The presidential elections for the past few terms have sucked! No one comes through as a clear choice.

And this year is no exception. Both Bush and Gore “gloss” over the issues in order to get as many votes as possible without pissing anyone off.

It would be nice if Nader could win. But like it was said, most people will vote Democrate or Republican.

Both men are intelligent, even if they have trouble speaking in public (Bush!). But I can’t see myself voting for Bush. I agree with many of the Democratic ideas and am all for pro-life, the death penalty, etc. And I don’t agree with many of Bush’s ideas and programs.

And DMAN said something about Bush giving tax breaks. Yeah, well his tax breaks are only going to help the top 1 percent of Americans. Mainly, the richest of the rich. So he isn’t going to do any of us any good.

In the end, it’s pretty much a popularity contest. People who are undecided are going to vote for the most “likable” person. And at this point, Bush and Gore will be directing all their energies to the undecided.

I hope that in four more years we have a much better choice in candidates. Candidates who have the balls to make a stand on an issue and not be afraid to piss people off. Until then, corporate America will be deciding who gets elected and what happens. It’s all about money. Just ask the tobacco companies. They’ve had things their way for a long time.

I'll just have to run for president in the future. I'll represent all T-men! Vote for Nate Dogg in 2012!

By the way, I can vouch for my friend B, he does in fact run a company. It’s called Hookt on Fonix. Picture Bush in the Middle East right now trying to aid in peace talks. It shouldn’t be problem considering he is as wise as a bumper sticker and the Gov. of the large state of Texas. Puhlease. Give Al Bore your vote.

“Raegan was the best president this country ever had. Where we are today is due to a lot of his leadership.” I agree, where we are today is partly Reagan’s fault. Trillions of dollars in debt, with mega-loopholes in the tax code for corporations. Let’s not forget the shape of the economy when the Reagan/Bush tag team left office. Give me a break.

Bush is so stupid that he’s a millionaire many times over. I wish that I was as stupid as he is. Gore will say anything that will get him elected. How much did President Clinton know about foreign policy when he was elected? How about Jimmy Carter…Ronald Reagan? These were all ex-govenors. You democrats don’t have to worry though because Al Bore (Gore) already knows everything. I like Bush.

B, I don’t have a problem with you, nor do I want to “start” anything. You have to remember that if you demean someone on a public forum that you might be expected to >gasp< back it up with some reasoning. Yeah, I made a crack about your grammar, but if you could reread this sentence, “For those who voted for Clinton… well ,but for those who vote for Gore, you shpould have learned the first time around,” and tell me what the hell it means it would help a little. You call Gore the stupidest person you ever saw and then go on to end your post with, “After all I would rather have a bush than be gored.” Changed my vote right there, bro.

Now on the topic of me wanted to "start shit," I'm not interested in a war; we both have better things to do. It is interesting, however, that you responded a few times to antagonize me without being further provoked. Is this how you responded when you were "put down by the best?" Did you call him/her an asshole and then declare victory? Well, you surely got my number with that one.

You blew the entire thing out of proportion, and I'm sorry I put on a damper on your illustrious money laden world. By the way, in your second post, after you "knew there was a test" your grammar was still pretty pathetic. Doesn't that just kick ya in the balls?

Take some advice and lighten up, I can take it as well as I can give it, though I don't think I said anything too terrible. Hopefully you don't respond to customers of your business the same way you did to me when they have a complaint. Take care and good luck. I hope one day I'll be lucky enough to have a college education and make enough money to compete with you.

Jeff - the immature 20 year old asshole

Screw Gore, I’m worried about Tipper! Remember her PMRC, or whatever it was called, group that put warning labels on music and ultimately tried to ban hardcore music and freedom of expression?? People are forgetting about that! I’m going for George W.

Let it be said that it is foolish to cast a vote AGAINST someone. If that is anyone’s reasoning as to why you’re voting for either Bush or Gore, then you obviously need to look into a 3rd party candidate because you’re not happy with either of the two main candidates. Damnit, I wrote this huge essay yesterday and it never posted. Let me just say that if anyone is serious about voting for intelligent change, visit www.harrybrowne2000.org, or visit Nader’s site (whatever it is - I’ve going Libertarian!) -

Later,
Flax

Not only is Tipper the censorship queen, but Libermann is the king. Did ya’ll listen to that faggot?

Austin, very good points in your last post. Let us not forget Reagan’s brilliant mandatory minimums, which does nothing for the government’s war on drugs and puts lots of recreational drug and steroid users in jail every year…while the drug lords go free. Does this seem fair to anyone? I just don’t think it’s fair that someone who gets busted with a few hits of X will get the same punishment as someone who is distributing it.

I find it upsetting that someone from outside this country had a better insight on our politics than almost everyone else that posted. PLEASE vote only if you are informed on the issues and where the candidates stand. A great site for all of us to look at is selectsmart.com. To be a real T-man you need to vote on pricipal, not who looks better or sounds smarter. I have VERY strong opinions on political matters, so I will vote for the candidate whose platform and beliefs are similar to my own. Also, We are talking about electing the next leader of the most powerful nation EVER in the history of the entire world. Fellow T-men and women, please weigh your decisions very carefully.

Maybe Bush does not have better communication skills than Gore but at least he does not knowingly lie to you. Nor would he make a good actor like Gore or Clinton would but do you really want to be fooled by your president every time he opens his mouth. Look Bush stands for what America was based on,freedom and capitalism. Gore on the otherhand stands for socialism. In a capitalistic society we as citizens can grow indefinetly in wealth. In a socialist society the masses are encouraged to stay in the “middle class” and mediocrity is rewarded. If this socialistic idealism becomes part of America it will eventually be our downfall.

I guess I deserve all this. I really did not wish to start anyhting like this. My oldest son decided to disappear and he has been missing for 3 weeks now. I have let that really bother me and have been rather miserable. I guess that using androgens doesn’t help ones attitude either. There have been a few more things that have left me this way but, I will not go into them. I do apologize for these things and I still think that maybe Bush is the right man. Later.
