Please call your local loon (democrat) and encourage him/her to join this!!!

I'm looking forward to your pain in 2008!!!

Jerffy,

I wasn't going to chime in, but your idiotic self just brings me to.

If you'll notice, it is the leadership that is in fact thinking that this is not a good idea.

However, funny, if a very large grassroots upswell occurs, things could get very interesting after November.

Times, they are a changing.

#4

Great -- then Cheney becomes the President!

Bring it on!!!!!!!!!

#5

Out of the pot and into the fire then.

They'll be gone soon....

#6

What part of Texas is Vermont in? lol

#7

Feingold is advocating Censure which is not Impeachment.

Nothing but grandstanding...and a waste of time.

#8

I want CENSURE and IMPEACHMENT!!!

Seriously, haven't you dems had enough?

Don't you think it's time to write to your blue state Senators and Reps?

Tell them your "mad as hell and you aren't going to take it anymore!!!"

Make sure you you throw in a few snappy little code-words like "Lied, Halliburton, Cheney, Stolen, wmd, spying on Americans."

You dems deserve better!!!

Let's get fired up and TAKE BACK AMERICA!!!

AARRAAGGGGGHHHH!!!

JeffR

#9

Maybe you should climb a little higher up that "ladder of invulnerability" Jerffy...

#10

Okay...that was funny stuff!

Why?

Because there is so very much hate coming from the left.

If they would just tone it down I think they would have a good shot at taking back the White House in 08'.

Oh wait....Hillary is running huh? Okay nevermind.

#11

The hate is equal from both ends of the spectrum.

#12

As you can see, George II really united the country here.

#13

as a sidenote to all the "impeach bush", "bush is a war criminal" ranting, everyone here should watch "Fog of War". does anybody here realize that if we had lost WWII that many top level US officials were worried that they would have been tried as war criminals?

it will make you think about many things in a different way, that is if you are not already brainwashed into whatever dogma/ideology your poitical party preaches, be it democrat or republican.

#14

in all fairness irish, bush may not be helping things, but has the DNC done any better???? lets get real here and both sides need to start tonning back the knee jerk responses, rhetoric and talking points.

here is a challenge, i want the leftists and right wingers who post here all the time(YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, LOL) to come up with three things, that their party/side/ideological group etc got WRONG.

if you cant do that, then IMHO you are brainwashed, and really need to be ignored from here on out.

not trying to offend anybody, just want to try to take these threads in a little bit of a differnet direction. heck, maybe that should be the topic of another thread...

As you can see, George II really united the country here.

#15

Historically (recent or otherwise) or just the current administration?

#16

hmmm, good point. lets keep things fairly recent, as what it means to be a republican and a democrat has changed a lot over the decades. last 10 years or so? how does that sound?

#17

Did Clinton? Did anyone short of Reagan? And then he too had many detractors.

We are a very divided nation. And I don't see that changing anytime in the near future.

  1. George Bush's public relations.

I agree that the media are a bunch of hostile, back-stabbing, whining, slobbering, glory hounds, but W. could play them like a fiddle. He has allowed them to drive the agenda on occassion.

  1. Bill Frist's failure to force the filibuster issue.

It was time to go nuclear!!! It has only been postponed. Frist's White House chances have gone up in smoke.

  1. The saddam documents.

These are the KEY to W's legacy. They are proving to the world most (if not all) of W's key assertions going into the Iraqi War.

We've seen that W. wants them released!!!

WHAT IS THE FREAKIN' HOLDUP!!!

Add to this the Republicans failure to get spending under control.

  1. Spending

  2. Not securing the borders

  3. Trying too much to be "uniters and not dividers" at the expense of their principles.

  4. Not finding another Scalia to put on the bench
