Bush And The Saudis

This relationship really bothers me. Many of you may simply discount it because it was one of many charges leveled against the House of Bush by Michael Moore, but is it valid? Would it effect the way you plan to vote if you learned that the Saudis had too much influence over our president? There is a site for this if you are interested:

http://www.mediafund04.org/saudis/

This seems pretty inflammatory:

Opinions? (That means, “what do you think of the evidence”, not, “please flame me without reading what the site has to say”)

Why should we believe this crap? Again going to another biased website to get you information. Have you read their about us section?

About The Media Fund
The Media Fund (TMF) is an independent political organization established by prominent Democratic activists to conceive, produce and place TV, radio, print and Internet advertising in battleground states across the country to define the issues for the 2004 local, state and national elections.
TMF is assembling the best research, strategic and creative talent to carry a winning message directly to voters in those key states where elections will be won or lost. In addition to seasoned political media consultants with extensive presidential campaign experience, TMF will turn to Madison Avenue to help develop creative ideas, craft compelling issue advertising and deliver results in November.

They have a political agenda to defeat Bush. Would you accept anything posted by a Republican website about Kerry? I doubt it.

I?ll read this if it is from a legitimate news organization.

This is David Brock’s website – funded by George Soros. Don’t think much else needs to be said, really – especially given that the Bush/Saudi stuff was already dealt with back when Michael Moore was peddling it.

BTW, that’s not to say I don’t think the Saudis can and should be doing more w/r/t terrorism – just that the scary inferences w/r/t the White House are bunk.

Before you get too worried about Bush’s supposed close ties with the Saudis - maybe you should look at in in the context of all our previous Presidents.

Was Bush closer to the Saudis than Clinton? Bush Senior? Reagan? Carter? Ford/Nixon?

I don’t know the answer to the question I pose here - maybe you have a basis for your concern.

It would probably strengthen your argument if one was to know how much closer Bush was to the Saudis than previous presidents.
