Bumper Plates

i need at least 4 45’s in solid rubber. how much can i look to spend and where should i look to spend it?

oh, and another question. will i be safe to use smaller metal weights outside of the bumper plates and drop them from clean height?

I’m not sure on the cost (I didn’t feel like researching it…sorry), but I know that you can use metal weights outside of the bumper plates. Hell, I even stack 45’s after the bumpers and drop them from clean height. As long as there is a good platform, everything will be fine. The bar won’t snap or damage.

Also do a google search as several of the stores catering to gyms have them. Shipping will run from $40-50+ a pair depending on the store, its location and your location.

Also check out your local gym supply stores. Some of the better places are able to special order and their prices can be competitive once shipping is factored in.
