Fairly poor excuse of a workout tonight, no real drive or enthusiasm. On the bright side it has to get better and I did increase the weights slightly. All reps at 10/10 speed.

All at 10/10 speed apart from face pulls. Again had slightly more carbs and less protein pre workout and it seems to be a good move.
To be honest I’m not sure, it’s a painful way to do things and my shoulders and knee are certainly much better. Don’t think there has been any muscle gain yet but the weights have started to slowly increase at last. I’m giving it until the end of the month before deciding if I carry on with it or change things around.

Then decided to try squats just to see what they are like at 10/10 speed without really pushing it, 60kg was on the bar so used that. Did 2 reps power style and then 2 reps high bar style. Weight was way too light but legs were shaking during this anyway even with only 2 reps.

Aiming for 60 second negative on the incline and chins, and the dips were supposed to be 30/30/30 but couldn’t do a positive rep after the first negative so did a second negative. Band pull aparts were supposed to be 30/30/30 but was only able to do the first negative. Seem to be overestimating what I can do on things.

Judged the weights better this session, will probably move squats to after extensions and leg curls next time, should have done that today but got all excited when the power racks weren’t clogged up with people doing shrugs so did squats before it was too late. Legs didn’t want to work when I walked out. Decent session.
