I can now do a set of 17 pushups. That’s all I’ve done so far today.

Yesterday’s tbar carries were stopped real short by a whirling windy, rainy snow front blasting in within minutes of me loading up on the field. Worked out ok since I was pretty tired just in general.

Tbar carries with blasts of wind 315# x total of 1070 feet

Inadvertantly gave myself food poisioning that resulted in some serious GI upset that started yesterday morning.

The super dramatic, lay on the bathroom floor between episodes type. Had to call in sick to work…by the end of it I was 156# which is a good 9 pounds or so down.

Anyways, todays lifts were just for the sake of going.

I feel ok but am behind on fluids. I do admit it feels pretty fancy to be a svelt and waterfree on my body, however its not gunna last.

Deadlifts endcapped with GI upset.
Things were going well on the GI front until that last set of deadlifts. Then my stomach revolted and I really wished I could have crawled to unrack and put the ets away…but that would have taken three times as long and I just needed to get out of there as soon as possible.

Its super cold and icy today, a snowy Thanksgiving here. Moss is totally wild with cabin fever, nothing to do about it since its seriously far to cold for him outside. Just cardio and home stuff today, work later this afternoon for the holiday. I did do some ghr’s at the bb gym as well.

feeling about 99% now after the strange week of gut issues and the resulting dehydration. But I missed out on Thanksgiving food!!! ARGGHHH!!! Working the holiday, GI restoration, and the snow icey road combination made it too much of a danger for me to head to my parents for grub. And my mom made a fat back turkey too!! ARGHHH!!! :frowning: If I am lucky there might be a Tupperware container left over by the time I can get there Friday…oh I want green bean caserole so badly!!! Of course I coudl make it myself but then its not my MOM’S!!!

Suprise 1am shift yesterday and a work thing today threw me a bit and called for a swift lift today. I might go back to the gym before job number 2 but I doubt it.

I have lofty goals but get seriously drained from work and being finacially just barely with my head above water. It makes no differance, it is what it is and I am by no means alone in this situation. I am lucky I can support myself however annoying and tiresome the things I gotta do to earn it are. I am gunna nap. Mossimo makes me wealthy beyond any scale.

A terrible euthanasia yesterday. Dog would not die. It was awful. IV catheter blew midway through and there was no going back to fix it with this owner who didn’t understand many things and was a panicking and at the verge of violence …terrible. For the dog, it was sedate enough, just a terrible experience for the owner who really was not understanding or comprehending, just lost in grief.

The front squats are sounding pretty good with the weight you are moving. The incident with the dog and owner had to be terrible. I imagine you do not get over or past that quickly. That side of your job must be pretty rough.
