My dead lift at 330 was all I had for normal dl’s. Things have changed but at least I got that after a lay off. Not as big of a deal to me to do normal dl’s lately which is strange but an evolution of sorts as well! Many new deadlift type friends (exercises) in my lifting bag of fun beyond the normal ones.

Called it there, fighting a fever again and was up most of the night. Sometimes I get decent workouts in when its like this because the whole time I tell myself all I have to do is this one thing and I’ll go home so its low pressure.

I don’t feel terrible but it’s marginal, so resting up instead.

That’s it. I used my sbd sleeves too because my joints ache!
I had to drag myself to do this today but I know if I didn’t I’d be anxious.

Yesterday I went to work and lasted 7 hours. Cranky, nauseous, and surrounded by eagerly annoying people which I usually don’t seem to notice on a day to day basis. Missing a day of work is a big deal for me and everyone likes to ask about it which was the last thing I wanted to do-- open my mouth … or talk!

I lifted today hoping it’d change the wave with a nice lifting buzz, it didn’t! So I took another day off for me today but its more of a mental health one/let’s not get fired for loosing my cool on an intern. REBOOT activated.

Yesterday I busted out the wt’d vest as well, and did a 4 mile walk, push ups at home 4 sets of 20, 4 sets of 10 and some misc 3 way shoulder presses with dbs at home.

The dead lift loserland status is not a surprise and its what I get for ignoring them. I am as well still nursing this hip thing. I didn’t realize until looking back in my log that its been 2 months since the fateful CRACKKKK!!! action that started it all. Its getting better, it really is which means times to get my act in gear with the deadlifts… dragging my feet the whole time…

That was all I was able to motivate myself to do. A lazy going through the motions day and that’s ok with me because its SNOWING! Like crazy!

My question is (probably you already commented on this): Since I noticed you repeat exercises daily, not to count that also DAILY you do really heavy workouts:

do you feel you are getting enough recovery?

Thanks Trtoldman! I’m probably never super duper fresh ever but for the most part I’m fairly recovered from lifting day to lifting day. I like the daily activities for more my sanity vs training goals. I negotiate a lot with myself about exertion. Gotta do something everyday or I feel lazy.

I do make sure I get decent sleep when I can and tons of water. But every now and then it’ll hit where my body wants no part in anything and I have become better at listening to it.

Dear me its nice out!!! I miss my outdoor carry days! The field I used is torn up and getting changed a bit. hopefully by the new year it’ll be usable and when it is–it’ll be BIG!!!

t bar dl’s 230ish x 8, 275ish x 6, 310ish x4 then walked/carried the forth rep x 50 feet. “Ish” to the wt’s because it was a tbar and my quick barbell math was not totally spot on to account for the 77# bar wt

My knees might just have become a general weak link I suppose. I notice through out my day at work sometimes one just gives a bit while I’m walking. Its done this for years now that I consider it so whatever, just a part of being a biped I guess.
