HEY NOW!!! 225x7 is a TOTAL PARTY! And it felt strong and crisp! HA HA EYEAHH!!!

I had more in the tank energy wise today but my extremities weren’t quite there. After holding a dogs’ mouth for an hour for a laceration repair on its gum, my left hand got twingy. I think I pressed down on my elbow for way too long restraining the lil guy and nerved it up because I have on and off tingling. Hand fell asleep midway through the procedure so I think that’s the cause.

So nothing involving grip today or as much as I wanted to- no bear hug carries. I think it’ll pass. I had a similar issue a good year or so ago but from overhead carries. Besides the wild arm I’m feeling great and more myself. I do have to sneak a nap in before work. It could be a long day today. WORD!

Not a ton of stuff but better then nothing. I nearly slept in but I needed to go. Been forever for the zerchers! I miss them, they will return. I don’t remember why I stopped unless it was an elbow deal.

Hand feels ok today, I think the twinge was nervy. I didn’t even notice it yesterday at work as I was kept busy. So I’ll be ok!

I feel good! That 182# distance carry meant a lot! The stones are a work in progress. I had to watch a video again since I had been doing it wrong the last few times. I do lack squeeze power in my chest and arms unsurprisingly. I’ll get there!

I feel as if I will be sore! I figured that out near the end of my lifting as hammies, quads, upper back.

5 mile walk, also walked yesterday but forgot to log it. GREAT time of the year for walks!

I must press if I want to even consider myself quasi strongman. Also my shoulders have shrunk a ton. This morning my bw was sub 160 which happens maybe once a year on a day I have severe gi upset or am dehydrated–I do not have gi upset ! I am NOT dehydrated.

I am shrinking. And old ghost of my past gets fired up- on both ends of the spectrum- when this happens, but its manageable. And it won’t last. I just bough various cheeses.

SO! I will push press! And I’ll be ss each with a pull up same reps as the oh pressing. I do like push pressing so its cool!

I gotta work my brace on it so I’ll be belting up as a reminder, did not belt today but I think it might help. I had stopped push pressing years ago after a pretty humbling but luckily not serious back injury, so that means to me I need to protect that back with ohp! SO I will!

My lifting is much more spread out the last week or so and I actually like it that way. It gives me something to look forward to everyday and its not super taxing. Doing the lil bits here and there. Not the most efficient, definitely not the most intelligent, but for me right now this is what I think will help me the most.

Unfortunately, the feta cheese I was looking forward to so much was quite tasty, but I have a headache today that started at during the night! Ugh. Its from the fromage–everything has a price for fuck’s sake!

Just a walk today-- I can report that my lats and mid upper back are sore today YES!!! Also a tiny bit of my triceps. That’s a good sign!

BUT 150# sand bag I got up to chest x 3 reps, well up and then down again.

The bag from last week or whenever was 150, I managed to weight it today. New goal in life is to get that 167# stone up! I like the sand bags so much more, much nicer. I don’t care, if I get a 168# sand bag up I’ll be happy too!

The 140 not working was puzzling but whatever. High Gravity day today for me anyways so who knows.

TIRED. Already! Yesterday I took off lifting because I needed to sleep before work, today however I have a quasi social/work event tonight after my shift and it is going to be trying!

Up at 1:25am to get ready and for lifting, work 10 hours…then stay up until 9pm listening to lectures.

Its because I’m cheap. Its quite hard for me to pass up free, already cooked vegetables…VERY HARD! Free coffee too. UGH GOD.

Today I woke up after 9 hours of sleep or so! It was great! And the sun was up! Moss walked a bit, then did some field work.

did the same but used the higher handle x 1 trip. Heart pumper because I am SLOW! I tired to get Usain Bolt ( spelled totally wrong) kinda push off sprint stuff but my muscles have trouble twitching that way! It felt good though!

Spring has sprung! A great day outside! It always surprises me how much I love the field days! SO COOL!

GOOD GOD my sternum is WILD. Its a full on work injury and I know it now. After yesterday’s super busy triage train , it just the way it is when I have to restrain a dog–I find myself getting into a position that makes it stretch – its gotta be the cause. Anywho it feel ok but its definitely not normal :{ An interesting feeling to say the least.

I’ve never done full zerchers more then once or twice. I wanted to try today to see if they are a benefit or not compared to the Anderson ones. I filmed them and have to compare to other’s vids to see if my angles and whatever are ok, if my form is decent.

To be honest…I think the Andersons are better- as in harder!! Maybe because I can get more reps, or I can start from the bottom, not sure. I dunno. here’s 225.

Work’s been super busy and short staffed! The Annual Spring/Summer Special! HA HA! Its job security!! I’ll take it.

So I’m unloading my traveling gym a few plates at a time and bring them into my apartment as more home hoarding of gym equipment. Kinda a workout in itself carrying them up the stairs. Handles and tbar will stay in there! Maybe;)
