I noticed I had on the wrong shoes- non deadlift shoes, but it didn’t really make a difference I guess.
I also tried my belt for a unsuccessful lift - I am NOT built for a belt and my hip bones protest it. My waist is non existent, but somehow I’ve filled out my abs more since the last time I put it on months ago. But I don’t think its a bad fill out.

I am SO pleased! I’ve been chasing that 200x10 front squat attack for a loooooooooooong time! I’ve gotten 9 reps more then a few times but never ten. AH HA HAAAA!!! :D!!!

I thought I filmed it too but I instead took a picture of the rack and not a video. Oh well. This is stupid but I am quite happy! AH HA HA! I did it!!! :D!!!

I agree as well. I’m more concerned that your still lifting at 4 in the morning, even with your new schedule (or lack thereof).

Try this: sleep in, walk dog, eat pancakes, take nap with dog…repeat as needed throughout the day. :laughing:

Thanks Z! Its hard to sleep in when I’m hardwired to be up early and the incentive of a near empty gym is there. Pus I like walking Moss in the pre-dawn hours so we can watch the sunrise together while walking.

I have worked all kinds of hours- overnights, 2nd shift, 8-5, but I gotta admit the early time is my favorite. So peaceful and quiet, lots of bunines for Moss to see…and I don’t need sunblock. Typically in bed well before 8pm, and a nap in the mix on my days off for sure!! My own lil world with its own lil hours :slight_smile:

I am going to keep it at 500 a day for a while. Now my goal will be beefier sets. I have been able to do a set of 30 a few times , however most of my sets are between 15-20 reps at a time. I’ll get there. Also changing up my hand position, adding height, whatever, I have lots of ways to change it up. But more volume would just take far too long of my day up. I can get better! And when I get bigger sets I’ll plan again, my god do they make me tired in a good hearty way!

I will not do any wt’d ones, I’ve had a history of having flare ups of older fairly unpleasant and slow healing back injuries when I’d use my wt’d vest, so that’s just how it is. Injury prevention trumps whatever progress I might get with adding wt to the push ups.

Moss’s vet visit resulted in a normal physcial exam and blood work. THANK GOD. Such a giant relief.

Of all things my nemesis the gym owner turns out to actually think of me. He made a point today to tell me he ordered a new high quality ghr-- I had suggested that a few years ago before I got mad on the gyms fb page. Nice!

I’ll take that! Still unsure what I think but a good ghr is never bad :slight_smile:
