Absolutely. If this boxer felt he should escalate a verbal argument with physical violence, then I see no problem with the other party escalating to deadly force to defend himself against a professional fighter.
In fact, it was the troll who acted reasonably and responsibly by apologizing instead of getting a weapon. Even in England where he wouldn’t have access to a gun he could have still gotten a bat or knife and readied a defense in his home. Instead he chose to apologize and prevent a violent encounter. Of course he probably did this out of cowardice, but in any case it was the troll NOT the boxer that prevented the violence from occurring.

He didn’t escalate it to physical violence, and there’s no evidence that he was going to. he didn’t even knock on any doors.

I’m from Texas. I have nothing but good things to say about it.
Texas is famous for big trucks, big guns, big people, big sky and good old boys who value small, small government and the sanctity of the right to defend himself and protect his family, neighbors, and property.
