Bowflex HVT for Cardio on Off Days?

Hello first time posting but I’ve been reading this site for a while now.

I know everyone on here pretty much doesn’t like most things Bowflex. I agree with that as far as gaining muscle I prefer free weights.

My question is about the Bowflex HVT machine I have an opportunity to buy one used locally for a really good deal. I have been intrigued by this machine since they came out and have wanted one for nothing more than a quick cardio workout. Would it be a bad idea to use this machine in between lifting days as it uses resistance and typical lifting motions for the workouts. I am just worried about not giving my muscles enough time to rest in between. I lift 3 days a week and was just wanting to use this on the other 2 days while taking the weekends off.


I think if you were training 5 or 6 times a week already and decided to add in some bowflex action then that may well be too much, adding on top of three times a week training sounds doable though.
