There is also Eastern Philosophy which will take you into a different direction.

Deepak Chopra comes to mind with this comment. Eastern philosophy tends to be a rabbit hole that is hard to get out of your head.

Not a fan. There are many good people to read that aren’t Charlestons. I’m a big fan of eastern philosophy, Buddhist principles…etc, but Deepak goes into quackery.

I believe the word you’re looking for is Charlatans

Sorry to be “that guy” but I was scratching my head initially until I read your next sentence…

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging by Sebastian Junger

Spent: Sex, Evolution, and Consumer Behavior by Geoffrey Miller

I liked this until he started getting preachy … he lost me about half way through…

This reminds me of Amy Chua’s book “Political Tribes…” which I want to read - she’s been on a few podcasts I listen to and like her perspective … also want to read “The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother” by her

This also sounds interesting … thanks for the post bud
