Bone Training

My friend is into parkour and he recently told me about this thing called the “Iron Shin”. It’s basically a technique/training program that allows your bones and your overall strength to increase so you can break stuff (bricks, planks, etc)

If you’re relatively new to the martial arts, just hitting a heavy bag will give you quite an improvement. I wouldn’t worry about special hardening techniques for at least a couple years.

I recommend jumping from one story onto the sidewalk three times a day.

Be sure to periodize by focusing on landing on a different area every two weeks. Ex. Weeks 1 and 2 land on your head, weeks 3 and 4 land on your ass, weeks 5 and 6 your penis.

After maybe 156 jumps, you’ll be bad ass.

Roland.

Heat your forearms and shins to 850 degrees C before quenching in oil and double tempering. That’ll give a nice hardness and structure.

thank you for your assistance. I will be as careful as possible, yet well motivated.
