BodyFat Calipers?

What do people here think of calipers as opposed to bodyfat measuring scales?
Are they a pain to use or obtain accurate results?

I think the general consensus is that they’re pretty accurate.

Slightly on topic/slightly off topic:

My gym measures bf with some electronic thing that you hold at arms length with both hands, and you squeeze it hard.

Is this an accurate method?

NO They suck. Try the thing themn go drink a big glass of water wait ten minutes try again. Likely a big difference.

Go with calipers and or the hydro tank method.

Oh and tell your gym to man up pay to get the trainers trained to do caliper reading accurately.
