Bloodwork Advice? Feeling Low T Symptoms, Dr Says I'm In Range

OK, what does this mean exactly please sorry I’m a newbie lol and would this be beneficial to start taking straight away then?

Yes I’m hoping I won’t need trt if I start training and see how go from there, but what no’s should I be displaying roughly before getting on trt etc?

It’s a shame as buying a cycle obviously is not much, but I believe trt is quite expensive isn’t it? But I suppose having a Dr on standby who knows what’s he’s doing would be great as well.

Oh that’s good to know, I was hoping i wouldn’t be trapped on it for life! I did two courses when I was younger, first was deca and test, which I believe is what shut me down! and then did test about a year later, but that was over 10 years ago now… thought I would have recuperated etc?

It’s only years later I’m thinking about it, bit I’m going to get back in gym and see from there, if it doesn’t increase then need to look at TRT.

What are the signs of Test just not increasing really? As in not producing it naturally please?
Anything specific I should be looking for at all?

Thanks All for your great advice :+1:t4:

If you are interested in trying TRT pick a clinic and they will give you a protocol to follow. You will have no issues getting a prescription with those numbers.

There is no best really. Just use whats available to you. Cypionate seems a favourite. A sensible starting protocol will be between 100 and 150mg/week injected but other methods exist. Doctor should provide all the guidance necessary. Blood work and symptoms will dictate any tweaks from there.

Probably a question for Google this one.

There are many knowledgeable enthusiasts on this forum that offer their valuable experience and are happy to take time out of their day to give their insight. It’s worth bearing in mind that you also need to put in your own independent research to make informed decisions if you want to get the most out of trt and your health. Best of luck!

Thanks very much for your input and advice. I’ve got a feeling my Dr’s going to say you’re in “normal range” so won’t refer me for TRT even though I do have private health care but will need a referral from the Drs to get onto it…

Are you based in the UK or?

You’re in normal range for Low T

Those levels are quite low you should be able to find a clinic easily if you also have symptoms.

No sorry

Does this mean that test levels will increase if start taking this? As I’ve already got this prescribed but not taking it yet

What does this mean please? Is there a lower range and higher range for low T?

I believe it’s a joke. You have low T

Your Doc is going by a tolerance spec. Let’s say you bought a luxury vehicle that rattled upon cold starts. You take it to the dealer but it all checks out because things are within tolerance. We are all treated the same way in the beginning. Things change once you begin to understand that being bottom spec and within tolerance doesnt mean optimal. It simply means that you’re scraping by. You will have to get a basic understanding of how your hormones work and how not to get ahead of yourself while trying to get ahead of the issues that require intervention. TRT is for you, but study well so that you’re well versed in what works for your body.

Thank you that’s a great way of explaining it, I am going to see if I can increase my levels by just training and eating sleeping better, if it doesn’t improve then will look at TRT.

Is eye strain headaches and breathing issues connected to low T?

Can you explain what us the best way to get a basic understanding of the hormones, google is a nightmare as doesn’t give you a clear cut overview of what’s needed?

Also, I was advised Cialis has been shown to increase Total T levels by changing T:E2 ratios.

Would this help my situation please? As I’ve got this prescribed already.

I had both of these symptoms when diagnosed with low-T.

Cheers mate, it’s all looking and pointing to the same conclusion. Will see if I can increase it and if not then TRT is the way forward I reckon! Did you have joint pains? My fingers feel like I’ve got arthritis sometimes and I’ve been getting a bit dizzy at times, Checked my eyesight and that seem OK. Prescription has changed slightly but that’s it.
I’m guessing the sildenfil you have posted is Cialis? I’ll start this ASAP and see if makes a difference :+1:t4:

I believe Cialis is tadalafil, not sildenfil but will it work in roughly the same way… Viagra is sildenfil I think but that gives me headache… they are both phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, but not sure of they work in the same way

Yes I did and was more prone to injury bending over or lifting stuff. My joints were always sore.

The Cialis has numerous health benefits, I to get headaches beyond 5mg daily. The first time I tried 10mg daily, I have never had headaches that bad before, very scary.

That sounds bad, yes hopefully this will increase my test a little along with test raising excercises… some squats, press ups before I can get to gym after Xmas, I’ll prob do 5mg EOD and see how I go with that, hopefully some symptoms may subside, then will check where I am with test… if not much difference then will have to go down TRT route

It doesn’t do that. It increases the TT:e2 ratio by lowering e2 without any direct impact on TT.

Wishful thinking. Ive read those studies and they show very little improvement. I went down this route because of ED . Guess what? You can eat all of the Viagra and Cialis you want and you’re still gonna look like a regular ole dad bod with low T. The possibility of Cialis not working as an ED drug is also a problem for those with low Nitric Oxide production, and Testosterone is what helps produce Nitric Oxide. In order for Cialis to work as intended, having higher T to begin with, is essential. It will help balance out the ratio once you have levels above 600TT, and it helps convert white fat into brown fat which is released as heat energy. What Im saying is… Cialis is not going to treat your low T symptoms when you continue to be Low T. Cialis will not increase your Testosterone. If you’re Low T, Cialis could deplete you of Nitric Oxide instead and that’s when the worrying continues.
The real solution is to increase Testosterone, take Cialis and be optimized. Anything else is just pussyfooting.
