Heya T-Fighters. I’ve been out of martial arts for a while now but I’ve got the urge to kickstart the choke-out training again. Anyone know of a good, spar-oriented BJJ school around the NYC/Long Island area? Thanks.

I’m not from New York but I know that Renzo Gracie’s school is in Manhattan. My coach is a black belt under Renzo and goes to NYC several times a year to train with him. It’s a bit pricey but it’s one of the best jiu-jitsu schools in the country.

You have some of the best academies outside of Brazil/South California in NYC - Renzo’s and the Machados as well as several others. Check out Renzo’s for some good bjj/nhb training.
