I started doing my pullups on the football bar with the slight undergrip. This crushes my biceps to where there isn’t much point in concentration Curls. Gonna do em anyways though cuz these little things gotta GRROOOOWWWWW!

Low Bar Mobility Work

So happy with that 365 for 7. OK so I thought it was just a bit ago but last October (26 weeks or half a fkn year) I hit 365 for a dirty 6. This was a clean AF 7. I have 2 more AMRAPs in the next 2 weeks but since I have no idea how fatigue will affect those sets this is the one I am choosing to care most about.

I really think I have a 210kg bench on deck. Maybe more once I get tapered, peaked and PEDed (more).

Low Bar Mobility: I will absolutely not jeopardize this Bench Block with Low Bar. Once I get to the “forever” portion of training I will see if I can low bar. In the mean time I am going to start working on Low Bar mobility work. A ton. Today I learned how much it sucks to try and get into any kind of squat rack position with a sick pump. It will be a long process and in the end my Traps might just be too big in relation to the mobility I can achieve.

OK gonna grind, nap, adult nap then stuff my face a bunch.

AM Weight 100.9kg Going to set my weight at 101kg and maintain that and hopefully grow into it. Any more immediate fluff is going to greatly hinder mobility and wont be lean mass anyways. If I wake up above 101 then its normal diet. If under its “eat like an idiot” day. Objectively I guess I will go based on what notch I am wearing my belt and measure my vacuum every couple days. In a few weeks if those progress we will add another kilo or 2.

Knee felt the worst it has with 135 to the point I almost stopped. Instead I added a plate and 225 felt fine. There is something going on with light weight that my form sucks. Not ideal.

Hot for Him or Her? So Wifey and I were watching an “Adult Film” and the maid came over to clean was the story line. Well 7 minutes of cleaning later she finally took off her skirt…and kept cleaning for another IDK how many minutes because we have fast forward. My question is who is all that cleaning meant to turn on? Like I definitely see it being hot for the woman watching it…but also the man. I love it when my wife organizes a cupboard or labels everything in the fridge. Damn thats hot. But my wife would love a maid coming over and cleaning everything. Some weird ass porn if you ask me…but obv it has a market LOL

AM Weight 101.55 So I wasnt supposed to eat like an idiot but I had to go grocery shopping so while there why not? Also I am softening up a TON!!! Lets hope I grow into this a bit. I have this fear that I have reached my enhanced potential. I am sure I havent but I am getting older and my genetics for mucsle building have always been shit.

OK Grind time I am going the volume route again. It has been going well and I feel like I am actually working so thats nice.

My back was in a lot of pain for deads. It wasn’t great for squats but Squats were pain free in my knees so that was awesome. Not sure if deadlifting 1st had anything to do with that and if that turns out to be the case my Squat warmup will be deadlifts.

I will be dropping most of my Squat volume as my back just can’t handle it. Funnily enough I don’t really care about my squat right now and even if I did this block isn’t how I would build it anyways. This block was only designed to get my knee healthy.

AM Weight: 102.65kg and I am actually wearing it really well. I am sure if I depleted my glycogen stores I would look terrible but that is a nightmare for another day. Belt was on the 3rd hole, I could have gone 4th. Either which way I will be eating like a human at least for today and tomorrow.

The only issue with this weight is that I am getting muscle bound but it is better than last time I was at this weight so hopefully by keeping on the leaner side I can keep mobility up.

Work Went Well this month so I am taking the rest of the month off after a quarter day this morning LOL #workaholic I think I have turned the corner (again…for the 37th time).

Ok time to eat and play video games with wifey.

Whole workout was a bit off. I really hate these Benches. They just dont let me get into a good position. Delts were a bit sore too and I am not sure how much is the bench and how much is the frequency/volume. I might not survive benching 3x per week. We will see how I feel with the extra day of rest, way too many calories and reduction in volume next week.

Also pretty weird right now. Supposedly our State just went next level shut down but our Mayor (of our city) pronounced pretty much everything open…except gyms. Like literally everything is open except gyms.

Speaking of way too many calories wait til you see this weekend of bulk.

AM Weight: 100.8kg TIME TO EAT!!! Next week I will try to add rice back into my diet instead of filling out my calories with junk. Performance should boost/health but those meal sizes will be huge.

I am going to try to take my lower back out of my Assistance work. So no bent over rows, no RDLs (even body weight) etc. Reverse Pushups were a lot harder than expected so that was awesome.

OOOOH as bad as my delts/pecs felt yesterday they felt amazing today. Soreness is gone, tightness not as bad so I really think it is the volume so although these weights get heavier the weeks should get easier with the drop in volume.

OK watching Thor, eating my “real meal” before eating some junk AF stuff.

AM Weight: 101.25kg and have a sick sugar hangover. Brain is fuzzy and a little nauseous.

Looking decent though. Its crazy how much different I look at 101ish vs 102+. Small sample size but I was very watery even in the morning at 102. Its also a pretty big difference in shoulder mobility getting under a bar but that might just be from bench volume.

Me RFN. Rough couple days at work, everything is open except the gyms and I would say everybody forgot how to drive but if we are being honest Torreon never knew so yea, WOOOOOSSSAAAAAAAHHHHH positive vibes people. I need em.

AM Weight: 101.95 Seems low considering everything I ate yesterday. Today I am bumping “scripted” calories to IDK actually. I am adding rice to my meals so I can eat less junk. The meals without rice arent easy to eat so we will see how this goes. I think a better option is to buy dextrose and put it in my caldo but right now I have rice, not dextrose.

Mobility Update: Do they make drive through car washes but for people? My fat ass is not having fun trying to wash my fkn toes…or even my shoulders, or behind the head.

Rough workout. Delts felt a bit crispy. I will not be Benching Wednesday and next week I will adjust my split accordingly.

OK gonna go youtube and chill. Maybe get college kid wasted…ok seriously when I pulled up to the gym I was weighing my options. Luckily I only had like 150 pesos on me so I had to train rather than drink.

AM Weight 103.25kg PR BABY!!! Pretty surprised by that as I didn’t push the food yesterday so that must be from Sunday still.

Also very awesome is that at this weight I still check all the boxes.

-Belt on 4th hole
-Didn’t almost black out on Squats
-Still some definition in upper Quads, Lower Back Erectors, and outer Biceps (even if minimal for all)

So with that I am going to set 103kg as my new set point. I think just adding rice to my meals should be enough to maintain this weight.

Everything moved well but felt heavy but nothing made me black out. I shit you not a few of my deadlifts have made me see stars over the last couple weeks and they weren’t super heavy.

Bench Fixed!!! I took a sleep pad in and it was night and day. With out even having an arch I could easily and pain free get the bar to my chest. Luis also said he would fix one of the benches so very awesome.

If wifey can make it before tomorrow I will bench tomorrow.

AM Weight:101.55kg Wasnt great with food or anything last couple days but we will get it back up there. I have reached the size that drinking actually makes me lose weight. Fun stuff.

Espolon is a great bang for buck buy. On that day I was drinking Don Julio Reposado because it came with 2 cool little Day of the Dead shot glasses LOL

Jose Tradicional has a special place in my heart because it is what is usually at all my family/friend gatherings but that is best for mixers.

Cheers, I’ll see what I can find. Figure if I’m going to be stuck indoors for another month I might as well expand beyond scotch in the drinks cabinet.

EDIT: Don Julio Blanco, Espolon Blanco and Espolon Reposado are all available and around the same price point. I went for the first one.
