I, for one would like to see you deadlift. Probably wouldn’t take you too long to have a respectable pull. You train hard. Best of luck for whenever your next meet is.

Haha, I don’t think your fake at all. I just wanted to see it! That’s pretty crazy, dude!

whats up big willie, do you have more weight in you on squat, and you just do it for maintenance and to help competition lefts. Or do you really maxout with 315 on back squats?

"Another reason is that I don’t have a lot of time to spend in the gym. I’m busy with work, family, church, clients, etc. It doesn’t take that much time to get ready for a bp or curl competition. This works best for my schedule. Another reason is that squatting hurts my knees. So, I refuse to use maximum heavy weight for squat training.

I might compete in the deadlifts because it really doesn’t hurt my knees like squatting does. I just have to get a better technique to maximize leverage."

Sometimes I wonder too:) Competing in bench press meets is just a hobby. I think internet keyboard warriors take it way too serious. Also, some lifters don’t like the way I promote NASA, my sponsors and me. I can careless what they think because they are not giving me free stuff!

more power to ya man! keep on truckin’

I am the 2008 #4 ranked 220 class equipped bench presser out of 204 lifters in the USA by usapl federation: http://www.usaplresults.com/?sex=male&gear=equipped&lifts=bench+only&division=17&weight_class=220&top=all&display_units=LBS&year=2008

This was my first time using chains and really liked it. Definitely, the chains will help with bar speed, fast start and lockout.

I don’t plan to compete in deadlift competitions. I am trying to get my legs stronger and back stronger to help increase my bench press. I have not deadlifted on a consistent bases. One of my goals is to do it regular for now on.
