little pressed for time. wanted to work up to 405.
looking to re-arrange training days. squat looks to go to Sunday morning. will be training with another MM2 lifter (over 50).

Nice deads there and I think using crappy, stiff bars especially with no belt can build some strength. Plus when you use a good bar you’ll do better but I bet I’m just sort of rehashing stuff you’ve known before me.

That’s an interesting perspective. I’m picky about gym bars and such. Perhaps I shouldn’t be? Although there are a few things (like chalk and baby powder and the extremely rare ammonia capsule) that I only allow myself on meet day.

nice to get back under the bar. didn’t want to go apeshit on 1st day back. weight felt light on my back. depth was good.

did some bench accessory and shoulder mobility stuff last night.

re-worked programming to 3 day per week for the next 24 weeks - starts Sunday.

will alternate squatting and deadlifting weekly. accessory work will be squat related.

this should allow me to be less beat up throughout the training cycle.

groin tender & tightened up during block pulls. tried front squatting and groin was having no part of it.

gym got 800-900# worth of new Titan kilo plates and a new Titan bar. watching jackasses try to figure out kilo conversions is priceless. some have barely mastered multiplying x 45.

The last of the Titan order showed up today.

Our shiny, new, ER combo rack showed up today. It’s assembled and has been squatted in. Has yet to be benched in.
