Big Goals for 2013, What Ya Got?

It’s my last day off before I go back to school and I’m thinking of all the goals I want to accomplish by this day next year. Mine slightly vary because I oddly hit plateaus for a long time or I get out of them very quick.

bench 355 and up
squat- 450 and up
dead 500 and up
clean/press 250 and up
trap bar farm walk over 600 for about 30 feet
circus dumbbell over 140
and be big as hell of course

I would have more strongman events in there but I don’t have the equipment :frowning: I’m working on finding some.
But ya pretty big expectations but we’ll see what happens. What are you guys looking to do in 2013?

600 squat
405 bench
750 deadlift
1,500 hills ran
1700 total @ 242

Amongst other things

Graduate Basic Training
Graduate AIT
Get abz at 181
Get strength back to current level after Basic/AIT/cutting

The first two are a given, as I really have no other choice. The second two will put me a bit closer to being ranked at 181.

Bench 275
Squat 405
DL 450
Power Clean 185 and above for reps
Snatch 150

Grow a great beard.

Bench 365
Squat 495
Deadlift 585
Military Press 225

Get to 170lb bw @ <10%bf

Have my shoulder get back to normal
Compete in my first PL meet
In terms of lift numbers, I really don’t know where I’ll be in a year’s time since I’m completely changing my style of training, going from basic 4 DAW strength to Bulgarian style training, so I’ll put a general range on where I see myself being.
Squat 405-450
Front Squat 315-350
Deadlift 450-500
Pullups 3RM 60-80
Bench 225-260 (haven’t been able to bench since April)

Kind of large ranges, but I don’t know how I’ll respond to this training. So far it’s been going great, but who knows how longer that will last…

Bench 405 (raw)
Total 1600 (raw)
Deadlift 750
Total 2000 (equipped)

Get my back pain under control
Pull 900
Bench 500 raw

Write the fucking book I started an outline for last year.

Total over 1305 at 181 raw.

Let us know when it’s published and where we can find it!

My goals:

  1. Avoid injuries and nagging joints

  2. bench 315

  3. squat 455

  4. pull 545

  5. stay a little leaner

  6. Avoid injuries and nagging joints

Compete in a Raw Powerlifting meet. Total over 1300. Weigh in under 181.

Total 1100 @ 132 without wraps.

Get laid more often…

probably the exact same as mine

  1. Heal my back

  2. Everything else will take care of itself

Seriously though (well I was kinda being serious–this injury fucking sucks) but I would also like to get real lean this year. I’m big enough now that I think I can still look massive even with less fat.

I’d also like to take a crack at the 100% RAW federation world record in the Strict Curl for all weight classes. It was like 186 last time I checked, and I hit 176 in my first meet doing them, so not too far off.

Also would be great if I could get my deadlift higher than my bench lol

I want to total 1,200 raw @ 181 and only 18 years old and break some national records in either the USPF or USPA.

CS

Bench 300
Squat 400
Pull 500
And most importantly one year closer to being out of the reserves!

My first goal was to link up with a seriously motivating crowd to help me stay focused. Just joined TNation as a member after reading some forums and liking the hardcore attitudes I’m seeing on here. Looking forward to being a part of a place where I can get some advice and motivation as I push on!

Bench 130 kg/285 lbs
Squat 170 kg/375 lbs
Deadlift 240 kg/530 lbs

Maintain body fat percentage @ 85 kg/187 lbs
Remain injury-free

600/500/700

1800 total by the june meet.
