I'm going to be doing this program and had a question. What if I were to substitute 50 dips for the 100 push ups? I'm thinking it should be the same but just wanted to get some others thoughts. The reason for me wanting to substitute is that I like dips more than push ups, nothing other than that.

The pushups may be easier to recover from and for some people less stressful on the joints. Having said that, I think the substitution is fine and if it were me I would alternate between pushups and dips.
If you are substituting then you are not doing the program. Maybe just do it as written first and then you can give it an honest assessment.
