I have a question - you know how BF calipers are designed to give consistent readings by “clicking” when the correct pressure is being applied?
Well, does that make them good at being consistent even when you are storing water (like it will still give an accurate reading)?
Also, I swear what happens with me the few times I’ve measured my BF that even if I have more fat, the reading will be the same becuase the fold just sticks out further, but it is not THICKER. Just pulls farther away from my body so then it’s the same thickness even though it is more fat there. Why is this? How do you avoid it? I’d like to figure out an accurate way to keep tabs on BF just so I can be more objective (I’m a VERY bad judge of my own gains)
