Best Sports Moment?

Seriously, the most defining play of that whole game, set like 10 super bowl records, and single-handedly put up a 14-point swing. It also ended what? A 13-year tie at 5 wins between the Cowboys and 49’ers (and 3-year 3-way tie after the Steelers took 2005)?

People like to argue that Santonio Holmes’ game-winning catch was the best play of that game but really… Ben Roethlisberger DOES deserve some reputation as a good quarterback, and Santonio Holmes is a great receiver. Toe-tap touchdown passes happen every few weeks.[/quote]

I agree. It is the biggest play in Super Bowl history. The fact that Tone dropped a game-winner the play before he caught it sort of puts a damper on his catch for me.

I got 3 holes in one this November during one round of mini-golf.

Aside from that it was Hakim Warrick’s block of Mike Lee’s 3 pt attempt at the end of the 2003 NCAA championship basketball game.

Too many to list, but one of the recent ones would be the university of montana grizzlies scoring 40 unanswered points to come from behind and beat south dakota state 61-48.

As a powerlifter I thought this was just incredible he is a hero of mine. Broken rib and pure heart to beat larry pacifico. Just the amount of heart and desire to be able to deadlift a max weight is amazing and watching him pass out just illustrates how much pain he was in and how much heart that took.

I’m really not much into wrestling, but Kanye tells me this one of the greatest upsets of all time.

I’ve been meaning to read his book “Never Stop Pushing.” What do you mean Kanye tells you, like Kanye West?

My best sports moment?

6th grade. Tie game and 15 seconds to go. I remember that shit like it was yesterday…

…Our center got the rebound, passed it to our point guard, I ran for the fast break and caught a perfect bounce pass… Drove all the way and got the contested lay-up in for the game winning basket.

That, by far is the best sports moment of my life.

I get the chills every time I see that video. It’s amazing how mighty the ocean is, and I love the idea of being almost completely at it’s mercy. And no, lol, I’m not into bondage and discipline, lmao. I can never find a definite answer on who the surfer is, though. Some say it’s Laird Hamilton, and others, like yourself, say it’s Mike Parsons. I just know that it’s from Billabong’s Odyssey. Do you surf, btw? I know NJ has some pretty decent waves.

One moment that sticks out for me is the 93 Fiesta Bowl where Alabama kicked Miami’s ass. I mean that Alabama defense was sick, so much speed.

Larry Johnson and the four point play!

2009 Chelsea vs Barcelona Champions League semi-final - Iniesta’s 3min OT goal. Magic.

Just had to add this!

We talkn bout practice!!!

I remember this as one of the most touching sports moments out there where Derek Redmonds Dad helped him finish the race after he injured himself.

Can’t forget my boy Tomlinson breaking the TD record against the donkeys.
