I have a pair of those and after reading this thread, I dug them out of my closet to try against my regular chucks to see if it makes a difference.

A friend gave me wrestling shoes and I used them or low cut nikes when I was younger. Now Chucks. I also have new balance minimus.
IMO, wearing what you think is the best is the best. for me personally a regular flat sneaker sole doesn’t affect my lift.
