Best Pre/Post-Workout Supps?

#1

Hello all,

I've been pondering over what approach is best to take for this question, and I've come up with the following. Out of the many pre-workout and post-workout supplements, can anyone recommend which are the best ones, or tell me which ones they have personally used and have experienced body changing results? Out of the extensive research I've done, I've found these to be the best ones and would appreciate any and all feedback.

Pre-Workout:
-Infinite Labs Juggernaut
-N.O. Shotgun by VPX Sports
-SizeOn by Gaspari Nutrition
-Dark Rage by MHP
-N.O. Xplode by BSN

Post-Workout:
-Biotest Surge Recovery
-Infinite Labs Massport
-N.O. Synthesize by VPX Sports
-Protein Powders, whey and creatine transports (Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion, Optimum Nutrition Nitro Core 24, VPX Sports Zero Impact Protein Powder, VPX Sports STEALTH
-Dark Matter by MHP

If I have been mislead by the media, please inform me too. I want to maximize my efforts in the gym, especially since I DO NOT train like a pussy. And just as a side note, I am 5'6", 145 lbs., white male with 13% body fat (and 20 years of age), who is looking to put on 25-30 more pounds of lean muscle.

I typically go for a protein shake (Gaspari Nutrition's Myofusion, 1.5-1.75 scoops), some almonds and a banana immediately after my training routine. But I have recently switched the nuts and banana to a slice of whole wheat bread with natural chunky/crunchy peanut butter and a banana for more carbs following my workout.

And one more thing: I'm only willing to spend a max of $100 per month on these supplements. Thanks for any tips, tricks, and adivce!

Im tellin you the truth bro . . . i tried everything on that list. Including many others. YOU DONT NEED A PREWORKOUT. as soon as i stopped taking the shit i immediately grew and added the 10 pounds. it saves mad money too. instead of the bannana after the lift i would move it to before with about 30 grams of your protein powder, then after the lift 30 more grams of pro powder and 1/3 of a cup of raisins. Im telling you man it works for me. Really well.

my body looks bigger and better than ever after cutting out pre workout formulas.

hope that helps

Ya man, I have tried most Pre-Workout formula's on the market, but regardless of how elaborate, nothing has worked better for me than just carbs pre-workout to spike insulin. Ever since I started taking in carbs (whether it be waxy maize, dextrose, Surge Recovery, Surge Workout Fuel, etc..) my body has changed for the better. In my opinion, carbs are a better option pre-workout and are cheaper.
