I was going through the forums recently and read a post by CT saying that post workout carbs lower the growth hormone release from a workout and obviously this is bad (even though insulin is raised) and he said that it would be better to spike insulin or have simple carbs 15-30 minutes before the workout and during the workout (with protein and bcca’s) and to just have a bcca drink with protein post workout…
My questions are wouldn’t insulin still be raised even if you had simple carbs 15 minutes before the workout and during? and why hasn’t CT mentioned this
also the anaconda protocol has post workout carbs in it
anyone have any thoughts on what the best pre during post W.O supplementation is? Thanks
