I noticed a few threads talking about mistakes people have made and things they have learned NOT to do....So this thread is for the "best of" advice. Diet, training, philosophy, etc...If you've found something useful have any words of wisdom, post them here.
Do not worry about a lot of isolation work until you have gotten fairly strong on all of the BASICS to build enough muscle mass and size. This will be your foundation, then you can get an idea of your weaknesses. I really lke a post where someone said " Why do flyes if you can't bench 225 lbs".
