Best Natural Diet: Good Carbs Before/After Training?


If one doesn’t have Plazma, (or any intra supplement) what are a good source of carbs before / after the session?


I really notice a difference when I began to eat white rice 20 minutes before training. Right after I have 1cup of rice with 1 or 2 tbs of honey.

Thor (world’s strongest man) has a big squirt of honey from the bottle right before a big lift :joy:

I use Maltodextrin mixed with BCAAs and a scoop of protein before, during and after. It’s my college kid version of Plazma. I’m going to add honey now too.
