Best Damn Workout Mon to Fri w/ Weekends Off?

I read both parts of best damn workout, and i took a look at the different options as far as the 6,5, and 4 day a week break up. All of them include a weekend day as a workout day.
What would be the effect of going Monday through friday and having the weekend off?

I work weekend nights every weekend and its also a long commute to and from work, so it makes getting enough sleep, and waking up in time to get to the gym and then make it to work a bit of rough time.

so having the two extra off days over the weekend will not cause any issues?

Not anything significant in the grand scheme of things
