Best Damn Diet Snack Ideas?

Hi Im going to run your best dam diet for fat loss starting next week.

Im a bit stuck on what to have as a snack that is high in protein and fats but not carbs. Any recipe ideas would be greatly appreciated as Im just stuck on what to have for that.

All the best

Not Coach, but you could try cottage cheese if you’re not dairy sensitive.
It’s cheap, very high in quality protein, relatively low carb and available everywhere
There’s even lactose free brands, but they are pricier
Along those lines skyr/ Greek yogurt might also be a good option. High protein yogurts make a great base for mixing proteins powders in and you can basically make a mousse of sorts

Cottage cheese as suggested by @anna_5588 is a good idea.

What’d be some good suggestions for you is highly dependant on where you want to land on the spectrum of utility and taste. Since it is fat loss you are pursuing, maybe opt for utility as it won’t be forever. That’d be something like a can of tuna and some nuts, or can of sardines, or makrell.

If taste is of greater importance to you, and you have the time, then you could make your own protein bars. Use a quality protein powder, some chopped up nuts or nut butters, and suitable flours (almond-, coconut flour). You can probably find a recipe for cottage cheese flapjacks.

For middle-of-the-road between utility/taste you might want to go for some yoghurt and a scoop of whey, maybe some berries. Greek Yoghurt is also an option.

And you could of course make your own beef jerky!

smoked salmon might also be a good idea, and probably more palatable too

  1. protein shake & nuts
  2. fatty fish/lean meat & nuts
  3. fatty fish/lean meat & avocado
  4. high protein/nut bars home made
  5. hard boiled eggs

Thanks guys some good ideas there.
