I have just started to use john berardi’s recoommendations of combining either P+C or P+F in seperate meals. I was wondering what u thiught of using sunflower oil as an alternative(or complimentary to) olive and flax oil.
The reason JB recommends the oils he does is because most people get way too many Omega 6s in their diets relative to Omega 3s (ratio should be 1:1, though for most people it’s more like 50:1). If I’m not mistaken, sunflower oil is mostly Omega 6s and would therefore reinforce the problem instead of countering it. Stick to the oils he recommends and try to get as close to a 1:1 ratio of Omega 6s to Omega 3s as possible.
