In the final step of the bent press do you stand upright and then lower the weight or stand upright and lower the weight at the same time. Thanks for any help.
Well, I’ve done it both ways in experimentation, but I would suggest that you stand up all the way and then lower the weight. That is the technique that really hits the midsection.
I prefer to stand up in windmill fashion and then lower the weight. Does not really matter though. Do what is most comfortable.
Stand and lower. throw in some windmills at the end.
when you are standing upright, having completed the press, lower the weight while remainng standing.
