Benching Shoulders

When benching, the retracted shoulders (scapula) seems to be more beneficial for power output, as so i’ve gotten out of some articles.

Howbout for shoulder health and stress on shoulders?

Yes, there is less shoulder rotation.

There is less stress on the shoulders when you retract and flatten your scapulas. Not sure which article(s) you’ve read, but check out the “Yo, How much you bench” (?) article.
