Good answer. Like I said, I recognize that Westside is a proven “system” developed by and followed by many elite lifters. I admire that a great deal. It’s sort of unique in that regard. I mean of course there are other ways to train, but Westside seems to be sort of a “codified” way of approaching and training for powerlifting. That’s great. Also, it’s certainly not an “abbreviated” style of training. One must be highly motivated and willing to commit a lot of time and effort.

Oh yeah… I just ordered Westside’s deadlift video and have ordered from Elite before, so I’m definitely not anti-Westside. They’re smart and I want to learn from them. Thx.
