My bench has been fairly static for the last year. Recently been doing Wendlers 531 and that worked for everything apart from benching and overhead press. Both are fairly static at about 132 bench and 80 kg press. Last year I could bench 140… Just.
I followed 531 perfectly but no luck for benching and Ohp,
If tried everything … Including paused work, eccentrics, fast tempos, board presses, longer warm ups shatter warm up, different set ups, different grips and so on…
Has anyone had similar problems or can anyone help at all?
