Behind The Back Cable Lateral Raise

As per a previous post here…I am trying this exercise and seem to have some annoying, consistent pain in the front of both shoulders whenever I go above 7.5 lbs on the cable ‘functional’ tower. the next increment is hell.

I don’t neceserrily even have to get a stretch with the cable behind me for it to start hurting. Anyone have experience with this problem and building strength up in this exercise?

same thing wud happen to me wen doing behind the back lateral raises as well as upright rows…i dropped the upright rows and started doin the lateral rasies infront and it took the stress off my shoulders and gave me the same results
