Behind Neck Pulldown

Dr Darden , I would interested in your thoughts about the behind neck pulldown (parallel grip).
I used to love the Nautilus version and have never had any issues with it. In more recent times it seems to have been blacklisted by the “experts” , due mainly to the stress it puts on the rotator cuff .
My own view is that it can still be a useful productive and safe exercise provided one works within a pain free comfortable range and does not have any underlying shoulder issues…

I never had any trouble with the Behind Neck Pulldown either. I thought it was a good machine.

I also used to love the behind neck torso. but very few people performed it correctly.
