I am new to the gym and not sure what to do. There seem to be a million different programs, ideas, etc… Not sure which to start. Currently I run about 12milee per week, do push ups and sit up. My goal is to gain strength.
Can anyone help direct me to a beginners strength training program?
- read some Christian Thib. articles here on T-Nation regarding how beginners should train and apply it.
The program above, or Starting Strength or 5/3/1 are proven to work time and time again. Read them all through thoroughly so you understand the program properly, then pick one and work it with violent intensity for the next 6 months.
